Publishing your book idea...

Interested in publishing a book?

Visit the Writers Union of Canada website at:  http://www.writersunion.ca/gp_main.asp " The Writers’ Union of Canada (TWUC) is a national organization which brings writers together for the advancement of their collective interests. It is an organization which aims not only at embracing but also fostering diversity and inclusiveness in all their forms"

This organization also posts important "PUBLISHER CAUTIONS" for writers such as this:
"Picasso Publications is a subsidy publisher based in Edmonton, Alberta. The Union is strongly of the view that writers are usually ill-served by any publisher who requires payment from the author. One such instance in recent years involved the now defunct Commonwealth Publications, also based in Edmonton, to which writers seeking publication paid and lost around $2 million."

"Generation Me describes anyone born in the 1970s, 1980s, or 1990s -- in 2006, this means people between the ages of 7 and 36. These are today's young people, those who take it for granted that the self comes first. I'm a member of this generation myself, born in 1971. " Jean Twenge

"Building on the astonishing success of The Power of Now, Eckhart Tolle presents readers with an honest look at the current state of humanity: He implores us to see and accept that this state, which is based on an erroneous identification with the egoic mind, is one of dangerous insanity."

"The law of cause and effect is in constant operation, and we reap what we sow—not as a matter of punishment, but as the effect following the cause."

"We also see that the one who caused us injury has thereby set the stage for a similar injury to befall himself, and Karma will inevitably bring this to him without any action on our part."

"To me belongs vengeance and recompense" says the Lord according to Moses. (Deuteronomy XXXII, 35) In other words, it is not for man to revenge himself, but to leave it to Nature and the Law of Cause and Effect. If man insists on taking revenge, he is thereby sowing the seed for the return to himself of the same injury in the future." Karma: The Law of Consequences Life's Riddle by Nils A. Amneus

Karma, Cause and effect

v  Selfish impulses, needing to control and hide things will lead to one's own strife.

v  How we have lived and how we live - free of guilt and regret?

v  We can learn a lot from other's selfishness and the consequences of their actions.
